A Chester boutique secured for the Christmas trade: CCTV, alarm and access in one visit
Hikvision NVR with eight cameras, an Ajax alarm and Paxton access, all installed and signed off in a single day.
The challenge
A high-street boutique in Chester wanted a proper security upfit before the Christmas run-in. The existing kit was a mix of older standalone cameras, a domestic alarm and a basic key-only back door. The owner wanted one supplier, one invoice, and the whole job done before late-night trading kicked off.
What we did
We scoped CCTV, intruder alarm and access control together so cabling, drilling and making good only happened once. Eight Hikvision cameras went in to cover the shop floor, fitting room corridor, stockroom and rear yard, all back to a single NVR with remote viewing. The Ajax alarm panel and sensors were commissioned with app-based arming for the manager. Paxton replaced the back door key with a fob system tied to staff shifts.

The outcome
Every system was tested, handed over and documented on the same day, well before the Christmas trading window. The manager now arms the alarm from her phone, reviews CCTV remotely, and has a clean audit trail of who unlocked the back door and when. The boutique traded the entire holiday season without a single security incident.
